OCF Difficulty Season suspended until further notice

Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health is recommending the immediate suspension of all large events and public gatherings of over 250 people due to COVID-19. Our competitions are consistently over this threshold. Therefore, in consultation with our host gyms, the OCF Board has decided to suspend the OCF Difficulty Season until further notice.

OCF Difficulty Local #2 (scheduled for March 28/29th, 2020 at Boulderz Etobicoke) is officially cancelled and will not be rescheduled. We will issue full refunds to all registered athletes.

A decision on whether and when OCF Difficulty Provincials will take place is deferred until there is more clarity on the COVID-19 outbreak. We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates as soon as there is new information.

The health and safety of our athletes, coaches, volunteers and spectators is of utmost importance in everything we do. We thank the Ontario climbing community for their support and understanding.
