The OCF Board has simplified the process of selecting the Ontario athletes who will compete at Youth Nationals for Bouldering and Difficulty. The original policy was published at https://archive.climbontario.ca/ocf-201415-policies-for-registering-ontario-competitors-for-national-competitions/.
Since the OCF Board published that policy, the CEC has informed us that they have an injury exemption policy, which we expect will soon be posted at the CEC web site. That CEC policy will allow injured athletes who are unable to attend their Provincial championship to apply to attend Nationals. Given this injury exemption policy, the OCF Board has modified the selection process to be as follows:
The climbers who finish in the top eight positions at the OCF Provincial Championship of that discipline will be invited to register for the National Championship.
