Both days will feature a qualification round followed by a finals round (top 6 in each category).

Registration deadline is Tuesday October 1st at 5:00pm. Late registrations will not be accepted, no exceptions.
Important Reminder for Coaches:
Coaches who have not completed their Criminal Record Check must do as soon as possible. At this late date, we cannot guarantee that any new requests will be completed on time for the Gravity Niagara competition. Coaches will not receive coaching privileges at the comp unless they have completed all three requirements: OCF coach membership, signed code of conduct (unchanged from last year, no need to re-sign) and criminal record check.
Gym Waivers:
Athletes and spectators must complete gym waivers.
First Time Competitors:
Please send proof of birth date and citizenship to info@climbontario.ca or bring your documentation with you to competition check-in.
Volunteering:
We are still looking for judges for the competition, particularly for Sunday. If you’re able to help, please signup! We appreciate your help and support!
Provisional Schedule:
The final schedule and running orders will be posted on Wednesday October 2nd, after registration closes. Here is the provisional schedule for both days:
Qualification Round
7:30am – ISO opens
8:15am – Judges’ briefing
8:30am – ISO closes
8:35am – Technical Meeting
9:00am – Qualification Round Starts
3:00pm – Qualification Round Ends (approx time, depends on number of competitors)
Final Round
4:00pm – ISO opens (1 hour after end of Qualification Round)
5:00pm – ISO closes
5:30pm – Final Round Starts
6:40pm – Final Round Ends (Youth B)
7:10-7:40pm – Final Round Ends (A/Jr/Open, depends on number in finals)
Results and Awards to follow
An isolation zone (ISO) will be in effect for this competition:
- After check in, competitors will enter an isolation area and will not be permitted to leave until the competition starts. Only competitors, approved OCF coaches and officials are allowed into ISO; parents are not permitted.
- Competitors and coaches are not allowed to communicate with anyone outside of ISO. Electronic communication devices (including Bluetooth devices) are not permitted in ISO.
- Once in the competition area, competitors may not communicate with anyone other than officials until they are finished competing.
- Parents, coaches and other supporters are encouraged to cheer for their climbers, but they cannot call out information or advice (referred to as “beta”) to a climber while they are competing (including during rest periods between their attempts). Examples of forbidden beta would include “Use the hold by your left foot,” “Breathe,” “Rest now,” or “Use the hold around the corner”.
