Following the resignation of one board member, there is a vacant position on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Climbing Federation (OCF). The open position is for a term ending May 31, 2013.

The OCF welcomes applications from OCF members interested in filling this vacancy. Applicants must be a current Adult member of the OCF, and must be able to regularly attend monthly board meetings (in person or via teleconference). We’re looking for people committed to helping build the OCF into Ontario’s Provincial Sport Organization by getting actively involved, helping out at competitions, and rolling up their sleeves to help with the work of the organization.

If you are interested, please email chair@climbontario.ca with a description of your involvement with the climbing community in Ontario to date, and the nature of your interest and commitment to joining the board. Applications must be received by the end of Tuesday, November 13th, and will be considered by the board at the next board meeting on Saturday November 17th.
