2021-22 OCF Season Update

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve and restrictions are still in place for indoor activities in Ontario, the OCF’s priority remains to ensure a safe return to competition for our athletes and members. We have been working with subject matter experts and dedicated community members in the development of a return to competition plan for Ontario climbers. We are also working closely with gym partners across the Province to better understand their readiness to host events in the upcoming weeks and months. The OCF Competition Committee is in the final stages of their recommendations, and the plan for a 2021-22 Ontario Season including High Performance Development activities and competition events will be announced in the upcoming weeks. CEC Senior Boulder Nationals Survey

CEC has officially announced their 2021-2022 Competition Season! The OCF Board of Directors and Ontario Provincial Head Coach will work closely with the CEC and other Provincial and Territorial Sport Organization to determine the qualification process for their events and in particular the first event in November –  Senior Boulder National Championships that will be hosted at Délire Escalade, Québec, QC November 27-28, 2021. 

To better assess the interest of Ontario athletes in attending this event as well as help with the planning of the qualifications, we have developed a survey. If you were born in 2006 or earlier (16 years old and + at December 31, 2022) and are interest in attending CEC’s Senior Boulder National Championships, please complete the survey here:
